Top Ten Romantic Comedies (for guys)
I hate rom-coms….it’s my least favorite genre of film. They are predictable, or boring and a lot of them aren’t even funny or endearing. So, being a movie buff, I really need something amazing to truly captivate me when it comes to theses types of movies. Half of rom-coms are made for date nights, or for girls. As film goers tho, there’s usually not much out there in the line of a GREAT rom-com. Since i’m going to go see (500) Days of Summer, I thought i’d make a list of my top ten Rom-Com’s that guys like me, can enjoy. All theses films are a must watch!

Top Ten Films involving Robots

Soundwave
With the release of Terminator Salvation and Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen, I thought it would be appropriate to make a list of the best films involving Robots, whether they be centered around them or just have a random robot in the movie. So here’s the list! I apologize to everyone that Metropolis didn’t make the list, because I haven’t seen it yet! I’m so sorry! It’s on my to do list!!
10. A.I. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: An underrated film at best, the robots are just fun and imaginative in the film, Gigolo Joe has to be my favorite. Favorite Quote by robot:They ask for me by name. Gigolo Joe, What do you know?
9. ALIEN: I won’t say anything but watch the movie and the part where they reveal who’s a robot was a scene so vile and disgusting that people threw up all over the theatres. Also rumour that someone fainted, which wouldn’t surprise me! Favorite Quote by robot: Bring back life form. Priority One. All other priorities rescinded
8. IRON MAN: Tony Stark’s robots are HILARIOUS, truly brought a lot of charm to Tony’s work, really funny characters. Favorite quote by robot: Sign..(squirts fire extinguisher)
7. ROBOCOP: Robocop is half man/half machine and all around badass to the core. Everyone is afraid when Robocop is around!! Also the robot that destroys the crap out of a man in the beginning is intensly awesome! Good Ol’e ED209! Favorite Quote by robot: Four… three… two… one… I am now authorized to use physical force!
6. TRANSFORMERS: AUTOBOTS WAGE THEIR BATTLE TO DESTROY THE EVIL FORCES OF THE DECEPTICONS!! Enough said! Favorite Quote By a Robot: ONE SHALL STAND AND ONE SHALL FALL or AUTOBOTS, TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT
5. STAR WARS: The quirky Droids from the Star Wars saga are as brilliant as they are humourous. Everyone knows who C3P0 and R2D2 are, and it’s because of their personalities that they flurished in the number 5 spot! Favorite Quote by a robot: Beep, Beep, Beep!
4. BLADE RUNNER: Robots who impersonized living entities…creepy. One of my favorite sci-fi films of all time about a renegade cop who hunts down Robots (Replicants) as his job, hits the number 4 spot! It’s still one of Ridley Scott’s Best Films! Favorite Quote by a Replicant: I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time… like tears in rain… Time to die.
3. WALL-E The story of a 800 year old robot who falls in love DESERVES A SPOT ON THE LIST. You know how much I love Pixar!!! Favorite Quote from Robot: WALLLL-EEEE
2. 2001: Stanley Kubrick’s vision of the future features a computer that is the basis of pure evil.. the way he talks. the way he responds just gives chills down my spine everytime. He is so emotionless… Favorite Quote by a Computer: Daisy…Daisy….Give Me Your Answer True….
1. TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY: Terminator was obviously in the top spot. Not only is it the best robot film franchise, it is probably one of the best franchises evar…James Cameron’s baby is truly deserving of a spot in a lot of my lists. They made Arnold Bad, then Good, then Good/Bad then ultimately BAD!!!! LOVE IT!!! Favorite Quote by Robot: I’ll Be Back or HASTA LA VISTA BABY
Top 5 most anticipated/least anticipated films for the rest of 2009
We are June and it is time to look at what are my most anticipated films for the next 6 months, leading up to 2010. Trailers have to had been out for the film beforehand so that you can anticipate with me! I would add some films from this month, but i’m lazy, I AM ANTICIPATING TRANSFORMERS: ROTF, but seeing as this list refers to July to December, I can’t add it, sorry Chris. The most anticipated list was really hard for me to dwindle to five films because I am anticipating A LOT of movies. So i’m heartbroken to say a lot of movies didn’t make it, the films I put down in my list are movies that I will be there first day, and i’m anticipating do my hearts content, so enjoy.

Top Ten Children Movie Film Scores!
I’ve never really seen this anywhere so I thought I would post this up, it’s a cool little subject. Films have the ability to bring the viewers to a new world, whether the world be of fantasy, of action, or of horror. They intensify or do justice to certain moments and that also helps reflect into our childhood memories. People who grew up on films tend to remember certain key moments thanks to a lot of different factors but it is to my belief that one of the main factors is throught musical score so here is MY top ten, this is what I think is probably the most memorable film scores from Children’s film, past and present! I will stray away from the big heavy hitters such as Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars, because to me thoses weren’t necessarily children films, even though their PG. Also I will not be using any Cartoon films, because thoses are the obvious one, sure I love the Aladdin/Lion King/Beauty and the Beast/Pixar films, but i’ve talked a lot about theses films so I’m gonna focus on Live Action Children films. On with the list!
